Learn Lettering the Fun Way!
Join me for a course where you will learn to play with letters! You will draw fun letters, shapes in a playful style and also learn how to just enjoy drawing letters without the fear of perfection.
Why that course?
I have been teaching lettering for a good time now and my work really evolved in the last years to something more artistic. I did step a bit away from perfect techniques to go in a more human, playful and vibrant direction. And that is that way of drawing letters that I want to share with you today.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a recorded version of the workshop I did in 2024

Collage exercise
In this exercise, you will be reusing everything you learnt in that course and apply it to collage. Take a pair of scissors or a scalpel, some glue and coloured paper and play with shapes, colors and make your own collage!

Collage exercise - Another example
The previous video was a bit short to me so here I explain why I give you another example of collage lettering that was not in the workshop initially.
-
Collage Process Video
In this video you can see how I use shapes and letters in different ways to create my lettering artwork. This is a good example of the link between fun lettering and collage lettering.

I have been a lettering artist for more than 10 years now and I have learn many techniques, from script to interlocks. I have had the chance to design typographic illustrations for companies like Carhartt or Adobe and now I focus more on my proper style, which is something more human and vibrant. This is what I want to share with you in my workshops.

What you’ll learn
To play with letters by destructuring them while keeping the message readable, fun and beautiful,
To take your actual lettering style/skills out of your confort zone and get nearer from your personal voice,
To have a more playful and personal approach when creating a new artwork,
To use shapes as letters and bring a kind of collage and paper cut feeling to your lettering,
To play with constraints, like drawing inside a imposed shape or draw letters inside a photography,
To use great combinaisons of colors in your work, by playing with markers or colour pencils you will bring and eventually try to mix them with overlaps to discover new ideas for your creativity.
What you will do
You will spend the day drawing, try different ideas around exercises to unblock your creativity with letters and shapes.
You will experiment drawing without fear of judgment or perfection, like a “letting go” by doing different exercises, try different things and enjoy doing them,
You will colour some of your lettering with markers or coloured pencil and discover the mindful art of colouring a lettering you did draw with a message you did choose.
This is a special deal for the launch of my two recorded workshops videos. Buy one of them and get the other one for free :)
