Doves on Gel Printing
Here is a folk art, or mid century modern piece I made with acrylics with the gel printing method, which could be also seen as a monotype. The rendering of the overlap, especially created by this Outremer blue, which is powerful, gives the created purple such a vibrant emotion. Also the Gel Printing technique allows the overlap to be really well textured with a great light from the pink.
This is a very limited series of 7 pieces.
The artwork is printed on 360g fine art paper and its dimensions are 20x20cms.
Shipped in a cardboard enveloppe.
